Our intention is to deliver an exemplar sustainable development.

All of the buildings will be designed to achieve zero operational carbon, be highly energy efficient and be among the most sustainable logistics buildings in the UK.
Working draft concept layout
This will be achieved through the following means:

No fossil fuel connections to the site.

Electricity will be sourced from on-site solar generation and will only be supplemented where necessary by grid based renewable suppliers.

Sustainable systems and products will be selected for the development, including solar PV panels, best in class VRF heat exchange systems, air and / or ground source heat pumps, solar water heating, PIR LED lighting and battery storage to allow use of stored solar energy during the night time.

Highly insulated and airtight buildings.
​​

Rainwater harvesting for non-potable uses (e.g. toilet flushing and landscape irrigation).

Achieving BREEAM Outstanding and an EPC A+ rating.
